I find the human body intruiging, but one thing perplexes me. Needles. We can handle a cut that stretches across one side of the arm that is about a centimeter or two deep, but we cannot handle needles most of the time. Why? I would really like to know
no, I mean like say you accidentally got cut, per se a cut from prepping food and you get surprised, cutting yourself
Cut are like sudden you don't feel them much cause you don't know that you are about to get cut whereas you already know when needle is about to be inserted into yo arm or butt so brain assumes it would hurt and magnifies the real pain In case you want to avoid it cough right before needle is interested or don't pay attention to it
oh ? Well I actually love needles :| i would be so hyped when I found out I had to get one when I was younger
Usually, if it isn't self-harm, and someone gets a gash or deep cut, it is a surprise. It's pretty intimidating on a base primal level for you to be at the hands of another with a large pointy object coming in your direction.
