Ok so I have a question... My boyfriend is 17.. He was caught speeding in a 40mph zone going 56mph along with no drivers license. He got a ticket saying he had a citation .. I know that means you have to appeal by court and they decide the punishment, but my question is does anyone know what exactly the punishment may be?? I'm hoping just a fine he has to pay or community service maybe..

LOL he shouldn't even be driving But what I know is you won't be able to get the driving license for a period of time
Unless he has a driver's permit and has someone that has over a year of driving experience with him... But OP didn't clarify that and only said he has no driver's license and was speeding. For something like that, it's a possible fine but a lot worse than a traffic ticket with a license.

Some states give you separate tickets while others write it all on one ticket. But as Wolf said, it varies in the penalties.
Not if its a traffic violation. He'll have to do something really messed up to do that. And because he's 17 I think he'll be sent to the big boy house instead of juvie if he did something that bad.
