Thankful Thanksgiving Was a long day for me. Black friday sales so had to be at work early. I didn't get much of a thanksgiving meal with my family. See with hard times it came down to us having a small meal. Our turkey was really even chicken. I didn't get to stay long at my daddy's as I had to leave for work. But I was still happy to see my family. Nessa took me ages to get ready and I knew she would have fun with them all today and spend the night. Work was crazy needles to say. They did put a meal together for us but I had to skip it as breaks got cut shorter because of sale going on. So after work I got home and had found someone left me thanksgiving food on my door step. Reason why I decided to make this now. I in all honesty had forgotten a church was going around my area giving out food. I never sign up as I have more than others and feel they could give to others in more of a need. I know why thanksgiving was 1st created for in our history. But over time it has changed to family and friends aka loved ones gathering over a meal. Not only that it should be a time to reflect on things we are thankful for in life. So I wanted to know... How was everyones thanksgiving? What are you thankful for? I am thankful for my family and friends. Too many reason I could speak of why. Most of all is we take care of each other. We may not live in the same homes anymore... but if anyone needs anything at all, someone will help. I am happy to know we still have people in this hard world who gives and only asks for a thank you in return. No jk I could of cried when I saw that food. Not because it was food. But because people still think of others... even if they are perfect strangers. I hope all of you had a great thanksgiving. Safe travels to the ones still returning home now or in the next day. ?
