6÷2(1+2)=1 How!?!?! (1+2)=(3) 6÷2(3) <---- you have to override the left to right equation and get rid of parenthesis first. 6÷6=1 Bam! This is the right answer. If you use the calculator you're gonna get it wrong because I doesn't fully follow the procedure. So, what's your answer on this equation?
I learned pemdas in class. You do parentheses, the multiplication & division from left to right. Making the answer 9. (1+2)=3, 6/2=3, 3*3=9. What's this override business?
6÷2(1+2)=1 PEMDAS: parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction Parentheses - (1+2) =6÷2*3=1 Exponents - there are none Multiplication= 2*3= 6 Division = 6÷6 = 1 Addition= none Subtraction= none Answer is 1
Why did you distribute? It's two real numbers inside of the parenthesis so they will be added. The question is do you do 6÷2 first or 2*3 first.
Why do you say 2×3 first? 2(3) is the same as 2×3. Therefore 6÷2(3) is 6÷2×3, which you would read left to right. So you get 6÷2=3, 3×3=9.
well idk i see both sides bc once you add 2 +1, the parenthese serves as a multiplication sign. You would divide then multiply bc of the left to right thing
