how to sleep

  4. Take a sleeping pill or melatonin supplement or allergy medication that contains Benadryl.

    If a song is stuck in your head replace all the lyrics with the word sleep.

    If you start overthinking something replace the cadence of the thoughts/scenes/conversations
    with the word sleep.

    Once everything has calmed down and you hear all of the things that are covering the complete silence....

    Start from your head and concentrate on relaxing every muscle group in sections down your body...

    Your head... imagine it sinking into the surface you are resting on until you feel like you're floating in the air.

    Repeat this with your neck, shoulders, chest and back, core, legs, knees, ankles, feet...

    By this time you should feel very relaxed.

    Then take deep breaths and try to listen for your own heart beat.

    Then say the word sleep without making a sound or moving a muscle...

    See you when you wake up.

My advice is go find the nearest door you can, place your head firmly against the door frame and with which ever hand is closer to the door and grab it, slam the door as hard as possible, repeat 20-30 times. Now go to the bathroom and drop your phone in the toilet and flush it twice, then go lay in bed till you fall asleep.
