World at War

This is a post not made by me from the KaW forums. It works quite well, so I decided to bring it here. Thanks to AJ for the idea (from KaW) I hope you don't mind me using it, I just think it's a sweet idea, it's no where near as well pulled off as yours. Here is the story:

In 2000 the UN decided that the only way to achieve World Peace would be to demolish all weapons. This includes guns, nukes, missiles, fighter jets. By 2005 this had been completed, there were no longer weapons on earth, all the blueprints had been burnt. The world was at peace for the first time in thousands of years. However, in late 2009 the terrorist group "Kulak" formed in Northern Africa. The world was set in shock and at the dawn of 2010 an arms race began.

So yeah, that's the story of this whole thing. The rules are: it takes 4 turns to build something (1 turn is 1 playing post) 6 turns to research something and 2 turns to initiate an attack. To create a country you must include the following in one post:
Leader, what form eg. Dictator, King, President, Prime Minister. And ideals eg. communist capitalist but of both, etc.
Military Preference where will most of your budget come from?
Name of country, a real country that hasn't yet been taken.
(Optional)How leader came to power
Major and minor cities
Existing useful things for military eg. airports, docks, helicopters, planes.

Please be realistic and not too silly with you countries, and be realistic with their budget too.

To clarify it's a role-playing game where the most successful win, whether that means crushing the terrorists, or becoming friends with everyone, or even world domination, it is basically your own target and lasts until it goes inactive or someone has taken over the world.
