It's one of my favorite movies and I remember watching it over and over as a kid. (It was the VHS era so I must have really loved it since I would keep rewinding the tape.) I even had the original soundtrack. Everyone knows or would have heard of the Circle of Life at least. Bet you can imagine that guy belting out the first lines of the song now. But have you ever wondered what he was actually saying? The language they use is Zulu and all they're saying in the opening part is "here comes a lion, father" "oh yes, it is a lion" Twice. Just being all "THERE'S A LION." I CAN SEE IT TOTES And then "a lion and leopard come to this open place." Strangely enough, the first animal you see is a rhino. No lions or leopards. Oh and a few other things. Remember this? That took 3 years to create since it was very advanced CG animation. Oh, and Mr.Bean was in the movie too.
