My sister is the type of person that will always do some type of makeup. Even if its just to do a store run & go back home. With me tbh I don't wear makeup at all. When I do go out for the night or special events I just keep it simple and do eye liner & mascara. Not all girls are the same so many will have dif reasons for it. My sister just does it now bcuz its more or less part of her routine for getting ready. Some girls may not feel great about themselves. So putting on makeup helps self-esteem issues. Girls will for the most part pick up things at a young age about guys. Sorry to say it but most guys do go after a girl with makeup on. Makeup can make parts of a girl stand out. Like your eyes or lips. Most of the time girls just need to find a healthy balance with makeup. Some is gd but don't go so crazy with it. My sister used to put so much on when she was younger that my fam used to call her a peacock. She had waaaay too much going on. Think it mostly comes down to how comfortable a girl is in her own skin.
Okay the ones that are being judge mental about a question, so sorry not sorry that you're either bothered or upset about this. You didn't have to answer the question. I'm not telling people what they should or shouldn't do with their faces, it was just a question I wondered about if you bothered to read the first page. So irritated or upset people you don't have to read it.
Reasons girls wear make up: 1) To look pretty for guys to accept them. 2) For other girls to accept them. 3) To look pretty for one's self esteem. 4) Just because they like it. 5) Special Ocassion. Personally I wear make up on special occasions. I used to wear make up much more often but my boyfriend said I don't need it. Truth be told I don't. I feel comfortable with the way I look so why bother putting it on. I wear it on ocassions like weddings or when dining at fancy restaurants just because it seems more appropriate to try to look nicer. My opinion of others who wear make up is do so if that's what you want. I usually don't question someone who wears make up. I say usually because I do have one peeve. That peeve is cake faces. It's fine to wear make up but there is a point of too much and that point is cake face. Where your make is no longer a thin layer of powder it is full on thick layer after layer. I mean I also don't like people who use it for acceptance but I don't care if they do either. I'm just someone who feels if they don't accept you as you are then it's not worth it. So trying to look pretty for someone to accept you upsets me but I'm not one to go up and say "he's not worth it" or "you're friends just like you because you wear make up". However, if I see cake faces I will go up and say "wear less make up that is way too much". Basically make up or not that's your decision. However, don't use too much XD
There's nothing wrong with wearing makeup, lol, I don't wear it all the time but I do love it.. You can do it naturally you don't have to cake yourself in it!!!
How is makeup any different than dressing up in different clothes, buying new pretty shoes, fixing your hair, etc... It really isn't. Personally, I wear a tinted moisturizer and do my eyes. I don't wear a ton of makeup because I don't want to, but I don't judge people that do. Some women cover up strawberry birthmarks on their face with it. I knew a girl that half her face was a birthmark. It didn't look awful, but she definitely was ridiculed for it.
I'm sorry that you're unattractive but really.. What's the point of bashing woman who choose to wear makeup, for WHATEVER REASON THEY WANT! It affects your life in no way.. Move along honey
What annoys me is how judgmental women are towards other women like DONT WEAR MAKEUP IDC but DON'T JUDGE other women because they do! Most of you prolly dont wear it because you don't know how to use it, so sit your ass down..
