Peter Pan Peter Pan, mostly everyone knows him from the Disney Adaptation. The young boy who never wanted to grow up However... The original story is far from the Disney's version... Peter Pan is a very mischievous boy, who had a dark side. Here is an extract from the original book "The boys on the island vary, of course, in numbers, according as they get killed and so on; and when they seem to be growing up, which is against the rules, Peter thins them out; but at this time there were six of them, counting the twins as two." This gives a prime example for his dark side. Peter Pan kills The Lost Boys when they grow up or if there were too many of them. Basically, he would kill his own friends. This characteristic could be viewed as a way to maintain their population and sustain a living environment. However, it really is just part of this psyche rather than positively contributing to the Neverland Community. Another way we can tell he killed The Lost Boys was that he killed for fun; killing pirates for fun, killing friends for fun. Maybe, Captain Hook and his crew were The Lost Boys who escaped from being 'Thinned out'. During the middle of a battle, on a few occasions, he would switch sides just to kill The Lost Boys, once again, for fun. Why would the author have such a dark mind? Well... It was a way for the author to express the thought of understanding and appreciating human life. If all of this is true, there is even more of a dark side. Wait for it... Thank you Meagan for helping me upload the 'Never Growing Up' gif as my photobucket wouldn't work
NO... DON'T DO IT JIGGY.. I REFUSE.. NOOOOO I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE... PLEASE DON'T... NOOOOOOO U RUINED MY CHILDHOOD
I never read the book, i like the movie tho, i spose they cant have the hero killing everyone so its altered ??.. have you seen the series once upon a time?, peter is evil Af in that musta been based on the original story ?
They didn't really grow up as fast as a normal person would grow up. I read that they slowly grow up whilst Peter doesn't grow up at all. When they eventually grew up, Peter Pan 'thinned them'. Yes, Disney cannot show stuff like this if their targeted group is young viewers. In fact, I've heard of Once Upon A Time. It was on Netflix it seemed a bit like Frozen, the picture of it that is.
It's not like frozen, it's got all different fairytale characters but it's for adults. Its brilliant you should watch it, there's a twist on the characters it is really popular ?
No lol, I meant the picture at the front of it before you click it to watc. Thumbnail? Seems good, I might watch it soon. I solemnly swear to carry on ruining it, Ma'am.
