  1. Btw, lmao! @ that last part

  2. To be completely honest I'm not sure if God(s) exists, but at the same time I don't side with either athiests or religious people and find it hilarious that people blatantly state that a god does or doesn't exist when neither people have proof. I don't have a problem with people who believe in god or don't, as I used to be very religious once and understand the comfort and meaning believing in god brings.

  3. Where are your statistics then?

  4.
  5. ?What the heck

  6. Who cares what anyone else's opinion is everyone has different religious believes and everyone should stand by their own beliefs instead of critisizing other peoples smh religion is not for a game either smh remove post

  7. Finally

  8. I will not state rather I'm religious or not I'm just saying whether you think it is a suitable topic or not it will still be discussed so therefore your statement had no point in this thread other than to derail it

  9. Let's not get our panties in a was cuz someone had a diff opinion lol

  10. You people must be the "you shove religion down our throats!"

But go around insulting religion and shoving their atheist ways down others' throats.

Not yet lol mods must be getting a good laugh at how stupid people r to demand their beliefs on others while trying to defend theirs as well

  15. Per mod handbook: controversial topics are to be left to their debates unless it takes a discriminatory turn, or the creator of the thread requests a lock.

In response: I am agnostic with a touch of spiritualist. I believe that there could be something out there but prefer to keep an open mind as to what. I believe there's life after death, but do not necessarily think it's black and white as heaven and hell. I believe there is a greater power than us all, but do not believe that it's necessarily a dude in the clouds pointing his finger down to smite people. Perhaps it's just the force of belief itself.

We all believe something. Whether it's that God is the almighty creator of all, that no deity exists, or that science has proven beyond belief that many religious texts had things wrong. I don't know what's after death, and I won't find out until I die. Therefore, why worry about something that I have no way of finding out, an in no way of knowing when? I would rather concern myself with how to protect my kids today from the threat of predators, than to worry about protecting my kids from an evil mutated demon that probably doesn't exist in the form people preach.

My husband was raised Pentecostal, he doesn't agree with their extreme practices (he took me to his dads church.... I was scared poo-less...), but he believes much of the bible, and believes in God Etc. Our differing thoughts on religion and after life has never caused issues in our marriage, and our kids, once old enough to actually know the difference between religious text and Disney's Fairy Bedtime Tales... Will be told both our sides, exposed to churches, and develop their own thoughts, and/or relationship with whatever deity calls to them.

And Kefo, I find it funny you call op an ignoramus... As you have posted similar debate threads... Upset that he beat you to this weeks?

    Happy Tuesday Forums!

  16. Sum that up pls lol

  17. Polytheism makes most sense  delegation of priorities and responsibilities
