Hello forumers, (and the trolls that get little recognition). Ive decided to put together a list of ideas (and other peoples ideas i support which should be considered) into a list. 1) Important wall posts My first idea tackles wall posts. I think it would be nice if we were able to have a wall post that remains permanently on top of all others and anybody else who posts on your wall will have their regular post displayed below it. It would be a great idea for things such as seasonal greetings or temporary inactivity so people will know instead of important posts being pushed further down. 2) Scammer Alert a lot of people are becoming aware of the in reasing number of scammer in this game and whats worse, the whining that follows. So i had the idea that a moderator would be able to post a scammer alert on scammers walls. This wall post will only be created and deleted by a moderator and will require proof that the player is a scammer. This eill minimise whining drastically and the amount of people being scammed. 3) Hide Gifts ive noticed from experience that a lot of people while trading accidentally accidentally reject a gift on the odd occasion and think the person hasnt sent the gift because its done accidentally. Other people are often spammed with certain gifts and dont like to accept gifts from other people for a certain amount of time. So i was thinking that when clicking the hide button, instead of immediately deleting the gift, it would give us one of two options - delete and hide, but accept later. Clicking delete would automatically remove the gift from your inbox and you will not be able to obtain it later. Clicking the hide and accept later button will temporarily remove the gift from your inbox so it will appear as there is nothing, but will automatically reappear a set time later (30 mins, 1 hour, 24 hours later) [color]mediumspringgreen]other peoples ideas which require your attention I dont know who began the topics im about to mention so if you did or you have information on who did, please state so so that they can get their recognition Note - these are not my ideas nor did i help with creating them. Im simply re stating them because they seem like good ideas. I will not be going into detail on them and why they should be done, just giving a brief description of what they do. Admin and Owner colours So basically, the owner and admins names should be a different color from the rest of the players in a club chat. why i like this It will allow players who have any queries to get a faster response since they will know who is awake and available why i dislike this its not such a big deal, but i think this will cause a lot of players to want to have admin abilities for the privilege of having a unique color in club chat (cc) In my opinion the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and i fully support this idea gift spam so, the idea came up long ago to send multiple gifts at once. It will ultimately save many players time (those who spam loads of gifts at once) what the haters thuink Stop being lazy and gift them one at a time. what i think... You dont realise the time some people spend sending hundreds of gifts. This is a really good idea my kinda lame idea so. I dont know about you. But i love anime. Comics. Drawing. Art. Anything closely related. So i had the (not do good) idea that pimd could create a comic. Now i know what youre thinking. This is a bad idea. Ata has more important thing to do. But i would really enjoy it if ata could create a pimd comic using the avatars as characters and use the gifts and store items as props. Bring the avatars to life. Give them personality. It would be fun and could be published monthly at a cost [ec of course] So those are all the ideas that i could think of. P.s. i wanted to use images for illustration but my pc is bugging so i couldnt edit any pictures, sorry.
Well the ideas look perfect. I for one think they should be implemented. It would make gameplay a lo smoother and more apealing. Some of the ideeas are quite simple to implement. When it comes to the comic... im not so sure... thats quite some work there... but maybe later on.
I like some of the ideas. Gift spam, colored names, and hiding gifts. For the wall post, I like it, but that's what a status message is for. I don't know if it's all that necessary. I don't support the scammer alert. First, the mods are too busy to be finding scammers all the time. They can't just be going by people's words too because the people might be lying. Also, I don't think it's right to have someone be permanently branded by a "scammer" name. I have a bunch of friends that used to be scammers but wanted to change. It'd be terrible if they had to endure having that wall post forever. I don't like the comic idea. If you want to make it yourself, that'd be pretty cool and creative, but I don't want an official thing. This game isn't for little kids. I don't support the devs wasting time on this, time that could be used in other useful ways. Just my opinion.
I agree with the comic thing. But the wall scammer alert should be longer thought about. It wouldnt be permanent. It can be put up and later deleted by a moderator. And its their job to help the community. I walled two mods to help me with someone who bypassed on my wall two days ago and i still have no reply. But ive seen them having conversations with friends in these past two days.......
OMG the mods are real people with real lives and sometimes real problems. they don't have time to check everyone's wall for crying out loud. And the players out number the mods by a lot. What the devs or whoever should look into is finding a way to automatically ban people. Like when people out right type names of third party apps or common ways people try to bypass, this would help mods ban/silence people doing much worse and could check out peoples' walls sooner. -_-#
I'm in no way condoning scamming, but I do not want any of the mods to use their powers of deduction to judge if a deal is a scam and/or who is at fault ...not even sure if it would be feasible, as most are he said she said transactions.. I'm pretty sure they would also not appreciate the burden of being constable for every deal gone sour as well
