Philosophy time

I love banter and debating things from time to time. But this was too easy. Xx-Pride-xX gave me this one. Thankyou.

I was reading someone's forum topic about who the biggest try-hard on PimD was.
I'd heard of Siddharth and Izzer, but never heard of xx-pride-xx.
So I went ahead, searched for his profile, looked at his awards, read his wall. But something was keeping me from pressing the home button. Then I found what it was.

Currently for my psychology unit at school I'm studying altruism. It is a fantastic, religious state of being(altruistic) that we all wish exists. Some argue it is myth, others argue otherwise. But it brings to light the religious heaven-hell, G-d-satan, light-dark, chaos-order and selfish-selfless narrative.
In light of this, Christianity has a list in its scripture of the 7 selfish acts(sins).
I love the meme of the sloth holding up his hand and saying tf christ?! About how he is deemed a sin for being sloth.
But to the side and on a more serious note it is ideal for people to avoid selfishness and pride.

So what I wrote on this person's wall was "pride is a sin". He then replied. "I'm straight."

I'm no Christian, but to equate pride with homosexuality directly is a true shame. He actually does the plight of homosexuals a great dis-service through those 2 words.
I'm not a Christian and the fact that he says "pride = selfishness = homosexuality"
He actually supports the fanatical christian view on it.
Homosexuality is a by-product of romantic love.
There is scepticism on whether love exists or not. It seems not to have a biological basis or biological purpose. However many claim to experience it. This suggests that it is a man-made concept like civilization. It is a sort of mask that is based purely on belief.
The fact that this love decides who should and shouldn't marry, and not who can make kids it gains a solid credence in our society.
The non-genetic nature of love means that it is irrelevant of gender and can happen between any two people regardless of gender. They merely have to share a belief in the existence of love.
To call homosexuals unnatural or abominations is stupid. (Considering that love is unnatural)
However if love is natural Its purpose would be defunct by homosexuals.
But its purpose isn't even clear.
I don't mean to offend anyone.
But these are the facts. Pride is selfish. If there are no humble homosexuals, it's a fad. Humility lasts forever. Pride is temporary. The coupling of the words Gay and Pride does them both a dis-service. Homosexuality is a milestone in the indoctrination of romance and romantic concepts like altruism.

Note that if I were to state my opnion on this matter I would either be branded as homophobe or anti-christ. Which does society favour? Which is best? Do not catch me on the back foot please. I made this as neutral as possible.

But let's be honest.
America was founded on the philosophy of the greatest thinkers of the 18th century enlightenment.

Christianity was founded on the philosophy of Paul and stories of a man who survived death, walked on water, was truly altruistic, whose mother was a virgin and father lived in the sky. Sure it has its morality, but all the best bits were stolen. And the ones that were original and seemed good aren't. They are plain naiive.

 

Nothing wrong with being against homosexuality. Just gotta substantiate it. People with bibiles base it on the book, but it doesn't even present logical reasoning for its statements and they can't say the book is the logical reasoning because it simply isn't.
