Chapter 2: "Hey Iris can you go clean some tables and I will take over here. " It is always super pack in the mornings, well it's a coffee shop. We also have a stage so we have local musicians play sometimes. On every Friday we have music night which is tonight. I always wanted to perform but my boss says I can't cause we're always booked. I finally get home from work, time to take a shower. I decide to look somewhat nice. In my towel in my closet, trying find an outfit. I grabbed light colored skinny jeans, a white tank top with black stripes, grey thin cardigan and black toms. Now making my way to the coffee shop. The place was packed but I could easily see Erica with her sparkling pink dress and pink high heels. Next to her is her boyfriend Chad. But there was somebody else next to Chad and he has a acoustic guitar with him. I make my way towards Erica. "Hey Iris take a seat." I looked around there wasn't one. The guy next to Chad stood up and gave me his spot. "Oh thank you." He was so cute. He is really tall, has blue eyes, and blonde hair, which is clean cut and combed. He was wearing short sleeve dress shirt that was burgundy on top and grey on bottom and folded up on the sleeves. And black skinny jeans with grey river island chukka boots. "No problem I'm almost next anyways" he smiled at me which made me melt."Oh my name is Daniel by the way" I never really find a guy I like but he seems different." And you name is?" I spaced out and choked. "Oh.. My name is Iris." "Nice to meet you Iris, welp I'm up. Wish me luck." He walk up the stage and start playing. Omgosh he was amazing. He came down the stage everyone was clapping and couple girls start talking to him. I didn't get to talk to him the rest of the night. There was rapid knocking at my door, of course it's Erica. I put down my suitcase to grab the door. She was clapping her hands at me trying to rush me. "Let's go! Let's go the boys are waiting for us." I was rushed out my apartment. Wait boys? Locked the door to my apartment and practically almost slipped down the stairs to the car. Opened the trunk to put my stuff and I slide in the back of the car. Chad was driving and Erica was in the passenger seat and looked back at me. "So Daniel is joining us." Erica said wiggling her eyebrows at me." Hey!" Daniel grinned at me. Oh boy..
This is pretty good. Needs some touch-up work here and there, but besides that I have enjoyed reading thus far and look forward to future updates!
Chapter 3: It wasn't bad as I thought Daniel and I talk all the way to the airport. On the plane we sat next to each other. But I get motion sickness, so i put my headphones in my ears and decide to sleep the whole way. When I woke up my head was on Daniel shoulder and his head was on top of mine. We still had one more hour to go. I smiled and fell back to sleep. I felt someone poking my face. " Hey we are here." I open my eyes and Daniel was right there in my face, well I was still sleeping on his shoulder. Well since I'm not a smooth person, I end up getting up in a rush and bumped heads with Daniel. " Oh well that's nice way to say good morning." Daniel said as he rubbed his head. " I'm sorry" I said and look down at me phone. " It's okay seriously. Now come on we're here." He helped me get my stuff. Erica's family had couple of business here. So she was well known and had friends. We boarded off the plane there was a group of people with signs that said welcome just for Erica. Erica ran toward the group were there was a couple who look like they were in there 60s. " Guys theses are my parents!" Her parents smiled at us. The dad spoke to us first. "Yall be with us at our private beach house for the summer, no craziness okay.?" All of us just nodded. "Let's get home we have welcome party for you dear." Erica's mom said as she led Erica and us to a limo.
Chapter 4: The beach house was huge! It was 3 story house and it looked like there were to other buildings connected to it. When we got inside there were crowd of people there. "Oh Ashley how I miss you." Erica hugged a blonde girl with a pink maxi dress on. From there I lost Erica in the massive crowd of people. Chad was taking daniel towards the stage. Daniel was the music for the night. I found myself outside the circle of people. " Hey iris, long time since I have seen you." Brett my ex is standing in front of me grinning. "Hey how have you been?" I faked a smile. I use to be in love Brett in fact he was my first love. But he cheated on me and we have been together for 2 years. "I have been traveling the world, it's been great." It got suddenly got awkward. What do I say to a guy that cheated on me in high school. " So how do u know Erica?" Brett fidget with his hands. "Well me and Erica use to date and after that we stayed good friends and her boyfriend and I are best friends." "Welp that's cool. " I said back. "Yup well I'm going go socialize a little. We definitely need hang out." He winked at me went back in the crowd. Around 11:35pm Daniel got off the stage and was talking to a girl she was wearing a red mini dress. I didn't bother him but he didn't speak to me the whole night. The next day got real early I couldn't sleep so I went for a jog along the beach. When I got done I found a small cafe named ground beans. I got Carmel frappe with a coffee cake and sat a table. Someone say in the chair in front of me. "I guess this fate?" Brett smiled back at me, he looked like he went running too. "Or you were just stalking me" I said rolling my eyes. "Look Iris I'm really sorry. Can we start over? Let me take u out tomorrow?" Well me and Daniel aren't a thing. It's just hanging out. "Yeah sure." He smiled at me. "Okay awesome can I get your number?" I grabbed his phone and put my number and then walked back to the beach house. Later on that night I was making some food in the kitchen when Daniel was getting some water. He was dressed all nice and had some cologne on. "Going on a date or something?" I joked. "Uhmm.. Yeah I am." He he looked the other way and walked out the door.
