Chapter1: "Ugh!" I rolled over to my side to grab my phone from its annoying loud ring. I don't remember putting an alarm on. As I look at my phone I now understand why my phone was going off. It was a text message from my friend Erica. Erica: ? Me: ? ? hey! get up sleepy head need to go shopping to get cute a outfit for your blind date tonight!!? ? I'm not going.. Plus you woke me up from my Beauty sleep? She didn't respond back. I laid in my bed tried to go back to bed cause it was only 8:30am. Five minutes passed by before I heard a knock. It was so loud it filled my apartment. My phone rang again. ? Open the door I know your in there. Don't be rude! Bleh. I had only slept in my marvel tshirt. So I have to put pants on, I got up put my blue skinny jeans on. Drag my feet and went towards the front door to open it. Erica rush past me." Don't tell me your wearing that tonight?" She looked at me with disgust as she looked me over. Erica was a girly girl. She always got her nails done and did her make up and hair, wore dresses and high heels. Unfortunately I'm not like that. I wear skinny jeans, tshirts and my toms. I don't wear make up and I have a pixie haircut. How we are friends you ask? Well Erica lives right across from me. But not only that her family owns the place I work at and goes to the same college as me. She wanted to be my friend for some reason. "I just woke up dude." I rubbed one of my eyes. "Dude?! Excuse me? Do I look like a dude?" She sticked out her hip and stuck out her chest, flipped her hair. "Chill it's just an expression" I rolled my eyes and went to my bathroom." Well hurry up and get dress" she sits on my bed cross legged. I grab my phone and put some my alternative music. "Can we take my car?" Erica says behind me as I lock my apartment door. " uhm sure?" Erica loves showing off her Mercedes. Oh I forgot to say, yeah Erica is rich, well her family is. We got into her car and drove to the mall. "Hey look I just want u to have someone so you don't feel left out when we go to Honolulu oahu next week." She said as we walk into this huge mall, I never been here before. Oh so this is what it was about. Next week we planned to go vacation somewhere for the summer. But she invited her boyfriend Chad. So she trying hook me up with people so I don't feel like third wheel. "Look I will be fine don't worry." I assured her. "Instead of shopping for a lame date. Can we shop for our vacation?" She rolled her eyes and smiled at me. "Sure at least your getting into shopping now!" She giggled. No I wasn't, I was trying distract her from the whole blind date mess.
