Idk what you mean by "hogs" but whenever you sell an item, there isn't an exact or disclosed amount that it's worth. You just sell it at whatever price you think is fair ? Also, don't trade with players you don't know/trust! There's always a possibility of being scammed, so trade items at your own risk
Parties require a whole team to work together to finish it. Join a party club I suggest Volley 101 as they don't have a stat requirement and will teach you about game mechanics.
It's depends on the type of party you try hitting, as some parties are more difficult to hit than others. To successfully hit a party you'll need to upgrade a bit check out guides in forums for new players, they'll shine light on the mechanics of the game and teach you about the best methods for making money.
