He fell down a darker path, reaped a few of his classmates that ridiculed him, taking their power for his own. He left to travel and train on his own, growing in skill and power alike.

I get what you're trying to do, create a RP event. Maybe you'd like to work on the event description a bit since it just happens to be powers and abilities and who would win. Anyway, use the following website as it clutters up posts to do it manually. Link your profile when done.

We've always done rp descriptions like this as if done like this example; it doesn't sway the outcome of the rp and allows a more open start and plot to follow. There's been loads of successful rps that have had descriptions like this one...

 

Of course each RPer has his own style and one must always appreciate that.

I thought you'd be more comfortable in doing a more detailed one such as the below one from my previous Roleplaying community.
