Normally I stick to trolling and stay away from controversial topics but I just wanna make a point. Before I start I want to make it clear that there is to be no arguing, no political or biblical inputs and if you get butt hurt or feel the need to input any of those then here is your invitation to leave. Ready for the touchy subject? Gay marriage... I know what you're thinking brads an ass he is gonna bash gay people... Wrong. I have my religious views and I have my political views but like I said we are gonna leave those out. What I I want to understand and would love for someone to help me understand is this; "gay people just want to be accepted and be treated equal". Ok so you throw big fits (making out in chick fil a to show the man who's boss) As a straight person I would never do that so why does doing that make you feel equal? It's disrespectful. Giant marches and parades with full on pda.. As a straight person I would never do that again it's disrespectful to the public. Notice I said public not gays or straights. People are people but if you want to be accepted and treated equal then act as an equal. I don't push my straightness on others and you shouldn't push your gayness (that makes me sound like a horrible person) on others. The reason a big part of the gay community wanted gay marriage legalized was due to love and I stand behind and support that 100% why I don't support is the remainder of those that just want to prove a point. I don't condone gay or straight people that wanna be in public indecently or acts of sexual passion in public. Kids don't need to see that regardless of its man and woman or man and man or woman and woman. One day you will either reproduce or you will adopt and you too will want to shelter your child from inappropriate behaviors. I see the hashtag #lovewins all the time so make it about love not about proving a point. That is all. Oh and also I started a club so join ??️?
Two months ago i lost my phone at the fair. I felt so lost without my phone...i bought another phone the next day.case solved.
Irrelevant? I believe any question I have is relevant seeing that I live in America and we have the right as whatever the hell we want.
PDA is everywhere. The worst PDA I've seen between gays is holding hands and pecks on the cheek. But I don't think it's a matter of sheltering your kids either. Children should be educated and should understand that gays exist so they're not in for a shock when they see it themselves. Also, I'm more concerned with the crap kids watch on tv these days and the accessibility they have to watch "sexy videos" on their phones
It's not about what gays do when I mentioned pda it's about what al people do in that aspect. The sexy videos they have access to on their phones are the faults of the parents for giving someone under 16 a phone. TV is hopeless the government is ruining youth with the broadcast
U saying americans have the right to whatever they want defies ur own logic and makes u look like one of ata's newly acquired 14 year olds
Omg just typed out a whole thing and pimd crashed. Anyway, what i wanted to say is that many of us see pda as okay. Straight pda. Gay etc individuals just want to further prove there's nothing wrong w publicly displaying their love either. And it is healthy for kids to see what a loving rship looks like. But when all they see is straight couples publicly displaying their love, it makes certain others feel that the love or attraction they may have toward those of the same sex is the wrong kind to have. And that's not right. So yeah. Again disclaimer: my brain is just all mush rn so this isnt gonna super eloquent or well thought out, but i hope what im trying to communicate comes thru nevertheless
Being gay doesn't mean you're a fan of pda. I have a lot of friends in the community who are against that. Mostly, it's about being treated a normal person and to not be judged for orientation. I support gay marriage but I don't support people making a big deal over who's gay and who decided to change gender because gender is not what defines who we are. I really just want people to stop hating on each other.
