some place require you to verify by enter your birthdate and it keeps things honest because you connect to Facebook or someplace that uses your real age

 

true but not at the same time. a lot of people lied about their age on facebook for reasons if games and stuff that require a facebook age verification. plus all the ones on the internet you just scroll through and pick whatever age you want it doesnt work.

 

Required prof of ID & a bank or credit card. Most games and web sites do this besides ask for age.

Age change suggestion: email apple and google play and let them know your concern that an app with sexual references with convicted paedophiles playing where world chat is full of people asking to trade pictures, which encourages 13 year olds to online date with complete strangers and go on rp dates to sleazy motels, with references to drinking and drug taking is now available to 13 year old children. Once I get to my laptop I intend to ️

Lol I was mentioning this to my club members yesterday.
If they are going to have 13+ playing I was thinking they should have a way to link ages. Like other websites ask for age, and it's acceptable for all to view, but limits what they can see based on ages.
Like when they first start, ask for ages and mention it's a 13+ game.
Most children, as naive as they are, are going to put their real age because they meet the requirements, or 13(for those younger) and bam!
They are restricted from whom they chat with because they are too young.
Or... By Google accounts being linked to pimd, you can probably determine age from there. I'm not sure though.
For the ones smart enough to put 18+, silence them for giving false age? (If discovered) or make some harsher restrictions as far as silences and whatnot.

 

All they need to do is have a sensible conversation with the person to realise that their over 17. It's often easy to tell when someone's younger just from the way they type and the things they say.
