Charlie Charlie Challenge A new game has popped up on a well-known social media, Twitter. We've heard it on forums by Sorry (Mike). And today I will explain the secret behind the "Mexican Spirit". However, for the people who don't know what it is, I shall explain it. What is the Charlie Charlie Challenge? To play the game, grab a sheet of paper and draw two lines on it to make a cross. Put a “Yes” in the top right and bottom left hand corner, and a “no” in the two boxes left. Next, put a pencil right on the line going across. Balance another pencil on top of that, along the line going downwards. This is a tricky part. Once you've got it you've nailed it. According to Twitter, you must say "Charlie Charlie, Can We Play?". Charlie the spirit will move the pencil to either Yes or No. If it moves to Yes he's ready to play. Ask him more questions in the same format. "Charlie Charlie [Enter Your Questions Here]?". If it's no come back later and try again. Exposing Time The reason is because of gravity, and the awkward positioning of the two pencils. They just wouldn't sit still even if you wanted them to. With the Charlie Charlie challenge, nobody is actually touching the pencils, however they are still being pushed. Even the slightest movement from a breath or slightly tilted surface will push it around. Now where do we get the breath from I hear you ask. Put your hands in front of your face and say Charlie. Can you hear that breath? Can you feel it? Now say your own name providing it's not Charlie. The irony. For this example ill use my own name: Johnny. You can't feel the same amount of breath. So when you say "Charlie Charlie..." that's the reason to why the pencils move. They sometimes won't move as you didn't say it loud enough or close enough to the pencils. Why Do Bad Stuff Still Happen Then? After, playing it, some have reported strange things goings on. You must chant "Charlie Charlie Can We Stop?". You must also say goodbye when he says Yes. The main reason for strange things is people are more aware and the brain is more cautious to fearful things. It's like a placebo. It's also like hearing strange noises in the dark when you're walking up the stairs...... The only way to know if Charlie is real is to try it out yourself!
Twitter, a newspaper, doing it myself and YouTube. ?? Oh that's the worse. Try it when it's not dark? And savage you must!
You know I thought this challenge was talking to the sprit from that new movie coming out, since the ghost's name is Charlie. Can't remember the movie title but I saw a trailer for it. Well that was until I looked up who Charlie Charlie was. Now I believe in ghost and sprits of sorts but honestly I don't think Charlie is controlling the pencils. Just like Jiggy said I think they move themselves with reasonable explanation. While I do not discredit that Charlie could be real I would think you know a Mexican spirit would reside in Mexico. He probably would also understand the Spanish language whether it be Spanish (Spain) or Spanish (Mexico) since the two dialects are slightly different. Though that's just my opinion. Either way even if Charlie is real I wouldn't try the Charlie Charlie challenge. It's basically a homemade ouiji board and that is not something to mess with.
Huh? What's that movie? I got scared as well when typing this thread xD. Probably cause I'm alone and it's dark One of the main counter arguments is that how can Charlie be everywhere? I mean surely more than one person will do this game at the same time.
I'd assume that the weight being different at each end of the pencil is what makes it move... Someone can prove me wrong but that's what I'm thinking.
