Hello everyone, I am a huge fan of Japan's culture and I am currently learning on my own how to speak and read Japanese which is currently going well! Anyhow, one day I expect myself to visit Japan or maybe even live there, but that's just a dream for that. Anyways, I would love to know if you guys ever been to Japan and I would like to know how it been. The pros and cons of Japan (Tokyo). Also, does anyone live there, if yes, suggest me things :3 Much love. -Kaname
It's my first time and it's been a life long dream. hajimemashite, kaname-san. I can't say nice to meet you in japanese ?
I actually went for my first time around two months ago and managed to time things just right to attend AnimeJapan as well as see the Cherry Blossoms. It's such an experience to immerse yourself in a different culture and to see the sheer scope of things. I stayed mainly in Tokyo with a few small trips to see things like Mount Fuji, and even then I didn't get to see everything I wanted to. Depending on what you're doing, almost everything is also accessible to english speakers, though knowing a few key phrases can help.
Japan hmmm... - Food paradise - Bad water - High stress level - Very friendly and bold girls (good for shy men lol), but dont expect to play with em. Just play if u take em seriously. A friend of mine said her friends engagement was over because the friend who was a student in japan; was being friendly with a japanese girl, and the japanese girl though that they were lover. However the friend already a fiance he loved very much in his hometown. When he back home, guess what....the japanese girl suddenly appear in front of his house....viola...the fiance left him for that. This not happen only once. I have several boyfriends that studied in Japan and encounter the same problem (their jaws dropped cos suddenly the girls showed up in front of their door). Well, even my own cousin lol. - Very damn expensive, so no way i wanna live there. For travelling is ok
