Being hired or vollied isn't the only way to make money to upgrade. Try not depending on others for your stats since you're at the stat level where you can successfully complete other things to earn cash. Other things including jobs, parties, and farming. Good luck.

To help you realize that volleying you isn't the only way to obtain money, and eventually that 1 mil you're so fond of at the moment becomes a thing of the past and can't even make a dent in your upgrades. Try asking your current pupil for help instead of trying to find another one. Your pupil is located on your profile right under the words "pupil" and it gives a link.
I'm making my own money bye party and job helps a lot when u don't volley or dv you should try it..get max plunder first it more important...
Bc new players are a bit lazy. I hate saying that, but it's true. They want to be admin in clubs and get avatars, but not actually play the game. I've become one of those bitter players ?
Being volleyed is not the most effective way of making money. I would recommend partying or farming for money. Here is a list of farms, before hitting make sure they are inactive because occasionally some people become active again and may hit back. To party, join a club, and hit the party. If you can, I would recommend joining Cat Cafe or Pizza Pop (Art) because they pay the most. You will get money once the party is successfully completed. Here is a link to a thread naming some clubs that have no stat limit. You will earn 2x as much money per hit if you have 15m x your kcs in tutors. Once you earn the money, and probably before too, check out some of the threads in the strategy and guides section of forums This guide explains how to get started I'd check it out first.
