Once upon a time there was a white knight in a kingdom who swore to slay the black knight. He began to pack his things and headed out the door to begin his search for the black knight. He got on his steed and raced off across the country in search of the knight. He came across town after town and every time he did so, he had missed the black knight moments before. Tales of bread being stolen, a horse taken from the stables and a fair maiden ravaged. The white knight was furious each time he had missed his chance to meet face to face with the evasive knight in ebon armor. Years passed and no luck in the white knights search for the bkavk knight. The white knight started getting weary and his supplies became low. Soon he stole food to keep him sated, his horse became lame so he stole a new one from the stables. A woman let him stay in her fathers inn so he could rest. They made love during the night and when the morning came, he had left her to continue his search for the black knight. One day, while he was riding through the forest, he had stopped to rest and then suddenly, another knight in glistening white armor had cone out of nowhere and attacked him. "Wait my fellow knight" he said but the other knight did not seem to hear. The white night figured that he was new since his armor glistened and his supplies, abundant. The old experienced knight decided that the new, younger knight was not going to let him be so the experienced knight then slashed and hit the young knight. The young knight fell to the ground and asked, "Does evil prevail this time?" The experienced knight became confused and said "There is no evil here, young knight" and walked over to the young knight. But to his horror, the older knight had noticed that his armor was darker compared to the young nights armor. In fact it had looked black in the dark forest making him look like the back knight. the End Honestly, I had read a short story on this awhile ago in a textbook. I was bored so I figured I would post this. I could not remember the exact details so I did the best I could.
