I liked 1998. I was in the seventh grade. I mean come on, the world was coming to an end soon! We were getting ready to party like it was 1999. The music was still good, I love 90's music. Total Request Live and Carson Daly were ruining MTV (at least they were still playing music videos ?). The Internet was still beginning, and it was slow (waiting 5 minutes to hear the "you've got mail!"). There were no tweeting, selfies, blogging, etc so people lived in the moment more. I would seriously kill for a time machine (not seriously, but yes) ?

I had dial up internet. Someone picked up the phone and I was screwed. Now I get mad if things don't load in 5 seconds....
1998. The North American release for Pokemon Red and Blue. I got a hold of them 1999. I was 10. It was perfect.
