Gotta be crisps ? Weirdos who call them chips, chips are fatty, greasy lovely bits of potato lovingly made with loads of salt and vinegar .
I call them potato chips and the picture you posted once you quoted someone, I call those fries or potato wedges (depending on how they're cut).
Crisps are wafer thin, so they are crunchy and are very easily flavoured with different tastes. French fries are very thin cut, crispy but not much in. Chips are thick cut, not so crispy unless made just right, but have a lot of potato inside. Potato wedges are the (if you like, for sake of argument) slightly semicircular shaped chips with a tapered end, these are usually seasoned more than chips and French fries. ?
