What the hell is going on in Indiana?

  1. This week the state of Indiana passed the "Religious Freedom Restoration Act." This act gives business owners a stronger legal defense to refuse serving anyone they see as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. The business owners can refuse service by saying this selected group is against their faith.

So now that Indiana is trying to turn away customers because of who they are, the state is taking heat. Other states' Government officials such Connecticut and Washington, have a travel ban on Indiana in order to put on economic pressure.

To make matters worse, Scott County in Indiana, is suffering from an exploding HIV outbreak.

The outbreak started over drug users sharing needles. Scott County, where the outbreak is taking place, has no Planned Parenthood Clinic due to local and state political campaigns to cut back on health care spending. The Planned Parenthood Clinics in that state had seen a dramatic rise in HIV tests in the last year, even though clinics were disappearing due to budget cuts.

Don't worry though, Indiana officials have woken up and decided to use pop-up clinics that test for HIV testing.

So glad Indiana got rid of Planned Parenthood Clinics that test for HIV, to save the state money, to then spend that saved money on pop-up clinics that test for HIV. ???

Well done Indiana. Is there anyone else you could possibly offend or hurt?

  2. Damn inbreds

  3. I go to school in Indiana and it really is shocking. So glad to be leaving this hell hole soon. Craziness.

  4. I didn't know Connecticut had a travel ban in place. ? I think I would have heard more about that considering I live here. Baffling.

  5. New York and Connecticut had taxpayer funded travel bans on Indiana. Mostly for government officials. As of 59 minutes ago they just lifted it.

  6. And in Boston its illegal to kiss a duck!

    Oh the humanity?

  7. Texas I believe has the same religious act crap, so I mean it's not just Indiana. As for HiV outbreaks, that's what you get for cutting down healthcare, sharing needles for drug use and taking away free clinics. (I don't believe planned parenthood covers STD'S it's for birth control and pregnancies, but I could be wrong)

  8. Planned parenthood covers STD's

  9. Even men?

  10. Yeah, my best friend had to be tested after his ex started spreading rumors

  11. Even men can be tested for STDs. You don't even have to be a parent to use those clinics for testing.

The whole idea is to slow pregnancy rates and make sure everything is as safe as possible.

  12. always them white folks I guess

  13. Yup..that's why I need to move away from Indiana, I'd move out of the damn country if I could..

  14. OK there are bars and clubs that refuse service just based on how you look. I fully support gay rights but if it's against someone's religious beliefs it their right to do as they wish at their business. If people don't like it than don't go to their business. Everyone has a right to feel how they do, it's called freedom of speech. And everyone also had the right to run their business as they see fit. Do I agree with them on their stance with gays, absolutely not. But I do respect their right to do what they feel is right for them. And don't say well what about segregation because it's not in any religion to be a racist, but it is in many religions that homosexuality is not Gods path and it's a sin. As long as they're not physically attacking anyone, or putting anyone down and socially attacking them, than they are too do as they wish.

  15. And no I wouldn't shop at an anti gay establishment.
