Good point. I would still be mindful of the connotations here. Not everyone believes in the existence of Jesus ... let alone the need to apologize to him for having a name on an anonymous game that implies a gender-based need to connect or interact. I can just as easily claim that Rissa needs to apologize to my FSM because she mentioned Jesus as a figure of moral authority. (I am NOT saying she needs to. And now I feel a strong need to point out that you, OP, need to broaden your horizon. Not everyone that disagrees with you is scared of your sexual orientation. You may disagree with any and all of my POVs, but that doesn't mean you are scared of who I am and what I stand for, know what I mean?
My view on the subject is that a lot of players indeed have suggestive names like this, but do they ever get called out for it? Let people name themselves what they want, just because they're a lower stat player doesn't mean they are solely here for rp. This is why a lot of people avoid forums ?
Homophobia is hardly a fear of homosexuals. You're taking the literal definition. A homophobic disagrees with homosexuality, and it likely also extends over to *transphobia. Most people aren't afraid of these things, yet we call it a phobia.
