What color is this dress?

  1. "One in 10 men has experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner." Men need love too.

  2. I saw this the other day, one of the best ads I've seen in a website for awhile. Real talk.

  3. I agree with Jade. I think it's done in poor taste. I grew up in a house with domestic abuse and I don't like this ad at all. To me it poke fun of it riding on the coat tails of some stupid perception of dress trend. Horrible ad because it feels like it relays the message that domestic violence is a passing trend or bandwagon to be jumped upon.

  4. Hardly, I think it's saying more that we should be paying attention to issues such as this more than a trend about dress colours. It's utilising the attention the trend brings in order to get across an important message. Would you rather there was no campaign against it?

  5. Amen sister

  6. That is such an obvious pink dress

  7. So this ad is ok (and I noticed how tou spelled color) but the Coca-Cola Super Bowl ad with all the different peoples that make up the melting pot that is America singing "America the Beautiful" was this big travesty because everyone sang it in their heritage tongue instead of English? I never said this topic doesn't deserve a little light shed upon it. I said that this ad campaign makes it a trite joke.

  8. Why is the woman's face beaten up?

    Oh.. Its a propaganda piece

    Nevermind

  9. Deep

  10.
  11. What? I don't see how the two ads you mentioned are even connected, aside from them both being ads.

  12. White n GOLD

  13. gold and white

  14. Aww poor girl. I wish I could help stop she abuse she probably goes through daily??

  15. I kid you not. She probably hit the man first.

  16. I noticed the dress first, then read what was on the right and quickly spotted the bruises. Is that bad?

  17. To be totally honest I think that the media's portrayal of man on woman abuse is twisted, like their output on white on black crimes. The media has everyone buying into the ludicrous stereotype that only men are violent and only white people are racist.

  18. And that makes it better how? In that case both were in the wrong.
