  1. Me and a few of my friends got into the subject of things that can be use that we might have a home. For our daily Beaty routines when one, might have run out of the normal products we use.
    This is a few things I've done and I know they worked for me.
    It might not work for everyone as everyone has different skin Types.

    I would love to hear any tips any of you have. And found to work.

    RADIANT HAIR

    Want subtle highlights for the summer but don’t want to empty your wallet? Squeeze out an entire lemon in a dish, dip a clean toothbrush into the juice, and gently comb it through your hair. Then, go sit in the sun for about 45 minutes to an hour (wearing SPF, of course!). Do this once every two weeks or so and the lemon juice will naturally lighten your hair in the sun.
    (If you have the time that is)

    I've never done this but I know my friend tried it out to see if it was true and there was definitely a nice result.

    If you feel your hair needs a little freshening up but don't have time to wash and dry it.
    And (you don’t have a dry shampoo) you can use a baby powder (talc) instead.
    Apply it with a big makeup brush on the roots of your hair and then, take away the excess by brushing your hair with a usual hairbrush.

    To remove all of the build up that can happen in your hair from product build up.
    Mix baking soda in water to create a paste, and use that to wash your hair. Rinse the baking soda out with a mixture of apple cider vinegar for a completely natural, clean head of hair.

    Right after you style your hair, but before hairspray, spray a bit of aerosol dry shampoo at the roots. Your hair will stay full for a good few days.

    Protect your hair from chlorine in the pool by completely wetting your hair and saturating it in conditioner, leaving it wet. Your hair will soak up the chlorine-free water and conditioner instead of the pool water, which will prevent the damage and color turning that chlorine can do.

    Never straighten or curl the hair when it’s wet as it stretches the hair and causes breakage. Instead, blow dry on the coldest setting without brushing or let it air dry until about 70% dry and then style.

    Home remedies can be great for conditioning and repair. Try applying coconut or almond oil a couple of hours before showering or before bedtime.

    Yoghurt and honey: Honey is great for your hair, try applying four tablespoons of honey to a couple of spoons of yoghurt and leave the mask on for and hour or two before showering

    Avocados: Mush up avocados and apply with a carrier oil like almond or coconut and apply to hair before showering.

    Wrap your hair in a hot towel for half an your to allow it to absorb the treatment.

    Ever coloured your hair and ended up Disliking the colour if it's too dark?
    Wash your hair in washing up liquid or washing powder . This will strip the hair of some of the colour and make it lighter.

    GORGEOUS FACE

    Buying a new foundation?
    Because your neck isn’t exposed to the sun as much as your face, it is much better for matching your true colour.

    Put on cheek color before you do your eyes or lips.

    This way you can easily tell if the eye color will look clown-like before you even begin!

    CONTOURING

    When applied right, contouring can define your cheekbones and jaw line, reduce the look of a double chin, minimize a larger nose, and lift sagging eyes. It’s basically using makeup to highlight and accentuate your features.

    Use a bronzer or powder that is a few shades darker than your skin, and a foundation that is a few shades lighter for highlighting. For the most part, your t-zone and under eye area is where you want to highlight, and the outer portion of your face, underneath your cheekbones, and your neck is where you want to define with a darker colour.

    Don't forget to blend it In.

    Instead of using that bulky tube of concealer to cover your blemishes, rub a bit of it on an eyeliner brush for more precise control.

    For an easy way to seal your makeup:
    Spray a light dusting of hairspray over your makeup close your eyes, hold your breath.

    Apply the toothpaste on the pimple before sleeping and you will get rid of this uncomfortable problem, usually, overnight. It should be a plain white toothpaste. This can be a good alternative on occasions when you don’t have a proper spot treatment at hand or when you are out of your usual.
    Only use it every once in a while.

    Egg-white masks are said to firm the skin and soak up oil. Mix one teaspoon of honey with an egg white and stir well. Then add just enough flour to make a paste. Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eye area. (Be careful not to ingest any of the egg mixture.) Let it dry for about ten minutes, then wash it off with warm water.

    Lemon juice is good for making a good grease-cutting mask 2. Along with astringent herbs and a chopped apple as the base. Place the apple in a pot, add water to cover, then simmer until it’s soft. Mash the apple, add 1 teaspoon lemon juice, then 1 teaspoon of either dried sage, lavender, or peppermint. Apply this mixture to your face, leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

    If you run out of your favourite face scrub.
    Use sugar to clean your face. It does the same job as any face scrub.

    Your makeup remover is finished and you don’t have time to go to shop and buy the new one? remove your makeup using olive oil which is gentle on your face.

    Use clear lipgloss as an emergency smudge remover.

    LUSCIOUS LIPS
    Use a baby toothbrush to exfoliate your lips. To really get the job done, you can make a homemade lip exfoliate with sugar and coconut oil, or easier but not as effective, cover your lips in lip balm or petroleum jelly before scrubbing.
    We weren’t all blessed with Angelina Jolie’s lush lips. There are a few tricks to making them appear larger (a glossy lip being one). for a more dramatic effect, line your lips just outside of your natural line.
    Use powder foundation as a lip primer.Dust a little bit on your lips before putting on a bright colour to make your lipstick last longer.
    After your lipstick is applied, hold a tissue over your lips and apply powder over the tissue. This creates a matte look that lasts much longer.
    Use your finger to stamp a little bit of frosted blush or eye shadow to the center of your bottom and top lip. This gives a 3D affect.[IMG]

    GORGEOUS EYES
    With careful placement, you can make your eyes appear wider, closer set, more prominent, deeper set, etc. Determine what shape of eyes you have, and then accentuate them accordingly.

    If you wear glasses, use a colored eyeliner on your lower lash line and black on the top. It makes your eyes really stand out from behind your frames!
    False lashes can be a pain, not to mention time consuming! Here are a few ways to get the look without the hassle:
    After curling your lashes, apply a thin layer of powder before applying your mascara. I just sweep a small blending brush across my compact and apply it to the top and bottom of my eyelashes. I’ve also heard that some people use baby powder, although I think they both have virtually the same effect; creating a base that makes them appear much fuller.
    Apply two coats of mascara to the bottom and TOP side of your lashes, but wait 3-5 minutes in between each coat, otherwise they tend to get clumpy (not cute).
    When applying your mascara, you don’t want to just move your mascara wand from the base of your lashes up. Make sure you are moving the mascara wand back and forth while going up. The left and right motion will make sure every lash is covered entirely, all the way to the tip.
    Apply a touch of blush to the crease of your eye to freshen up your look.

    Sweep loose or pressed powder right under the eye liner on your bottom lid. It creates somewhat of a barrier, preventing your eyeliner from traveling downward.
    Use white eyeliner on your lower lash waterline, and then also white liner with a tad of shimmer on the inner corners of your eyes.This will make you look so alive and bright
    Most of us tend to just sweep a layer of concealer to the entire under eye area, but to really conceal bags, it’s best to highlight the crease and then apply a darker shade to the actual puffy area.
    To get rid of puffiness around your eyes use a simple tea spoon. Put it in the fridge for 5 minutes and when it’s cold enough, use it as a treatment for reducing the swelling. Slices of cucumber or potato can also be useful in solving the same problem.
    Leave on for about 10 mins

    Mascara dries out so fast and creates undesirable results. But, there’s an easy fix for that! Add a drop or two of (any brand of eye drops) into the tube, and then rub the wand around inside. The Visine softens the mascara liquid, making it apply as if it were a brand new tube!

    Instead of tossing them in the trash when your mascara expires, wash and repurpose those wands! You can use them as an eyebrow brush, even applying a bit of color before sweeping across your brows. Or, spray with hairspray and use them to brush and keep your eyebrows in place.[IMG]

    MAKE UP LIKE MOST THINGS DO GO OFF.
    Mascara = 3-4 months.
    Blusher = 12-18 months
    Nail varnish = 2 years
    Lipstick = 12-18 months
    Foundation = 6 -12 months
    Eye liner (pencil) = 18-24 months

    Don't forget to Wash your makeup brushes at least once a week.
