So last year I got engaged at the age of 20, a few months after I went wedding dress shopping with his grandma. ( My family was states away). So we went to David's Bridal, the lady that was helping me seemed very nice until she started talking to the women next to me. They started talking about how "I was stupid for getting married so young",then the guest went on to say how "she was almost 30 how her marriage would last and I would end up with a child and divorced be time I was her age". The lady helping me agreed with the women. I found the dress that I liked and asked a different lady to ring me up. Now every time I look at the dress or put it on I get furies because that horrible experience comes back to mind.
Was the dress gold and white but everyone was telling you it was black and bluethat makes me furies too?
I've had that experience a lot. Not specifically about marriage but relationships. Though if I had a lady like that helping me I'd go straight up to her like "Why the hell are you working here? You're supposed to help me pick a dress for my special day and you're judging me." and to the other guest "Screw you who gives you the right to say that I can't hold a marriage. What makes you so sure your relationships gonna be that perfect?" :roll: Hate judgemental people.
I'd have never bought the dress from there in the first place. I would have told the lady off, gotten her name, then had her fired the next day. That's not how you sell wedding gowns.
