So as a fan of RoosterTeeth It came to as a surprise to hear about the passing of Monty Oum Monty Oum was the RoosterTeeth animator. He worked on Red vs Blue. And he worked on RWBY I just wanted to share this time with other fans of RoosterTeeth or of Monty Oum's animations. As I have sent to them in messages and on their Monty Oum tribute video I wish his co-workers and friends and family the best. My condolences go to them. R.I.P Monty Oum.

Yes. He died earlier this week. As to any updates on RWBY or any other animations on RoosterTeeth's website and channel I haven't heard any. Though I'm sure they will continue RWBY with the rest of the animation team. At least then Monty's work will be done :3

According to an article on RoosterTeeth's website Monty had a severe allergic reaction during a surgical procedure. This left Monty in a coma and his body was not able to recover. This led to his death.
Damn that's terrible. I'm assuming they are putting RvB and RWBY on hiatus until they figure something out
Probably. I assume people who worked with Monty on animating will continue it after they have settled things. That way as a tribute they can finish the work he started as a team. I don't expect it for a while though. The funeral is this weekend so I don't expect much updates on the situation until possibly next week.
Monty died due to unknown reasons last week. According to RT's FB they will not be doing any episodes until later on this year.
It was unexpected how he died. It was suppose to be a simple medical procedure. He got to work on an idea since dead fantasy... He did a lot of work on the 3rd season.
