I wish something like this was true. I think this app would go in a better direction if it was purchased I wouldn't really care if the new developers couldn't speak English, it's not like the ones we have now read what we have to say.
It can't be purchased, it is built on top of a proprietary social chat app they developed for private use, you can't sell pimd without selling everything. They have said this several times. There is even an interview on Google about it with one of the owners
