Can we all take a moment to look at the current state of this game compared to other, similar games such as kingdoms at war and what used to be future combat. I am from future combat and it was always known that pimd was full of "perverts" and "pedos". It basically turned into a running joke to the other game's communities. Noobs would be told to go to pimd, in the same way that some people here tell noobs to go to meego. Now that I have actually played I can see a few things right away. The game, completely ignoring it's player base, is completely sexual in almost every way. This is why things are difficult for pimd only. The developers gave you a terrible theme to work with and that is not the communities fault. The next thing I see is how self-hating the pimd community is. I'm not talking about fighting and drama, but instead the constant bashing of the "noobs". The roleplayers, the ones who do not upgrade and "actually play the game". It is constant, for every roleplayer in world chat there is one person who openly hates it. The next and more major point I see is the attitude of the larger, established and known players. This is what bothered me enough to make this thread. You, the bigger players, talk in a language of sexual frustration. Every thing is a lightly covered up innuendo or a joke. I watched mods have talk to some players on campus and even then there were jokes about being spanked, sexual emojis, and so on. Now, I am no prude. I am just as "perverted" if not more than 90% of you, but the joke is old. There are other subjects in life to discuss and wrap your head around. I'm all for a good joke now and then, but to talk that way all the time is borderline painful to be a part of. The game is stuck in this state when it doesn't haven't to be. The smaller people who use the app for other reasons will always be here, but these bigger players who talk in innuendos and covered up frustration are setting the bar in place. I see people with extremely sexual "couple" names that openly hate the perverts of the game. Even if it is not serious, as said before the joke is old. Accidental hypocrisy is what this community is. It is a community of all the same yet still hates itself. It is a toxic environment of people acting in a fake personalities. It's just bad. I am sorry, I am not a troll, but this is the opinion of an outsider. I really love the base game, but the way you people act I would be far too embarrassed to show my friends the game. How many of you would show this game to the real world? If your friend looks over at your phone do you immediately do something else? I know I would. Now, "what's the point of this rant" you're probably asking. My point isn't really for me as I have found myself no longer carrying like I used to about these games. This is for the ones who do care, the ones who hope this game will stick around. This is for the people who think the game used to be better than it is now and the people who just don't realize what exactly is going on. It is not meant to bash or degrade your community but instead help it. It's as if none of you have the outside perspective to realize that you are all mostly the same and part of the overall problem.
I agree with this, but it's also partially ATA's fault. They allow us to have these names and perverted conversations. They moderate these people who allow these conversations on WC. They make suggestive avatars, gifts, etc. Lastly, they've made it pretty clear that they don't care about their players so it makes us not care about our behavior.? Meh, but support.
Definitely. Like I said they didn't give you guys a decent starting theme. It's like they took the burden of moderating sexual themes from all the other games and shoved it here.
Thank you OP, one thing I've found highly disturbing is the preponderance of highly suggestive names and language here. Me, I'm just here to party and chat politely. Another thing that's bothered me since I started, when I find out someone I'm talking to turns out to be 9 or something. I mean, my first thought is "WHERE ARE THESE KIDS' PARENTS?!" My next is "there needs to be a better way to monitor these kids." I think I've said enough.

Concerning the part about more experienced players lacing their lingo with sexual innuendo and how they're sexually frustrated, well, I wanna add to that, it's also interesting how they target little RPers sometimes, farming their entire club and what not. I had a friend tell me how she was harassed for weeks just because she ran an Rp club. This thread explains the epitome of the common question "What's wrong with Pimd?"
