With these new Christmas Themed Gift Bombs, there are some pretty cool things that we can get. There are some very well designed (and unique) items, such as the star, fish, and snowman. We can even get cats, DNs, or last year's better avatars! However, the big complaint is the drop rate for certain items involved with these bombs. Nutcracker and Fruitcake are very common, which isn't horrible, I mean, that's an extra one of those useless items in our showcase for the 10th time in a row.. But it's the 1 Speaker that feels like a slap in the face. First problem, these drop way too often. We get 5 Speakers everyday for free anyway, we don't need an extra one every time someone graciously drops a bomb (not a reference for all you dirty minds) in their club. When the original gift bombs came out, we got 100 speakers, which was much better. Why change it to 1 for this Christmas Bomb? I would much rather prefer 1 EC, instead of 1 speaker. Honestly I would say the MAJORITY () of players do NOT spend their EC on speakers. So if we were to get 1 EC, instead of the 1 speaker, this drop would be much better, because with how common speakers drop, those ECs could add up pretty fast. Also, I haven't seen 1 avatar drop. I might just be blind, or it could be the **** ton of updates club chat gets when a bomb is dropped, and it goes by too fast, anyway, those are just a little bit too rare. (This is not about speakers, it's about the spam of updates in cc) I think the amount of updates is quite annoying, and if a cat is to drop, it could quite easily be taken if no one saw the update. I suggest a system that works like parties and wars. First, add a section in between (so people don't complain about the new placement of "wars" and "parties" in Club History) "Wars" and "Parties" of Club History called "Gifts Bombs" or just "Bombs". When you click on "Gift Bombs" it'll work like the "Parties" section. However, instead of it saying which party was completed, it'll say the name of the person who dropped it (then under it, it says what time they dropped it) and then to the right it says "Details". When you click on that, it then shows you a list of all players (ordered strongest to smallest) in the club. Whoever dropped the bomb is at the top of the list (with it saying "Gift Bomber" above their name). There is a link to their profile, again like in the "Parties" section. And then, once again just like "Parties" it shows the list of drops each person gets (with a picture of the item of course). I believe this would be a much better and more organized system of announcing who gets what when a bomb is dropped. I feel it could work and shouldn't be hard to implement. ATA, I hope you read this probably not, but I wanna let the community hear my ideas and I hope you take it into consideration. I hope you all had a great Christmas! - Matt
First it was oh bombs no support, then when they leave it was oh when are they coming back!?, now its speakers bleh stat less bleh. Etc etc. ata can't always make us happy or anyone equally happy. its like With the cats.not everyone's happy. People Keep buying they keep selling. My opinion tho.
Atleast these gift bombs are temporary, The original gift bombs will Be back shortly after this Christmas one so that's great! And maybe ATA will add more cool stuff to it
Like I said. Some people didn't like it. Some did. Then when they left some people went crazy. Then when they came back some people are going crazy again. They are only temp old ones will be back? and someone in my club got an avi from it. The Avis are just super rare.
Idk bout you but I'm pretty sure the word "rare" means not common. Very small chance if not almost impossible of it happening. Avatars are rare drops sooo...... yeah.
I don't mind too much about the speakers. They have use still unlike the stat-less gift items. I find those pointless and it sucks that you can only gift the nutcracker to your partner only. But it gifts to everyone in your club so it meets value for money I guess since everything is worth at least 1EC.
I got an avatar from a Christmas bomb js, but I think the speakers are ridiculous too, people are spending a lot on these and the drops are mostly rubbish!
