  1. New law on Domestic Violence (UK)

There has been some major changes to the laws on domestic violence for the UK recently, one of these is the change of context of what is domestic violence.

Before these new laws, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LAWS only were taken into account when there was serious physical damage to the victim. (Although there are a few laws with less severe consequences of physiological violence)

The new laws have heralded a new call for domestic violence, now it is possible to be persecuted in the court for psychological violence, or financial abuse.

These new laws make it easier for people to come forward and seek help from domestic violence.

And remember! Domestic violence IS NOT only committed by men, in fact men only commit domestic violence 10% more than women.
