I couldn't find a proper thread to post this to so I've decided to post it inside its own thread. Basically its how I feel towards the gaming industry nowadays compared to the older days hence the title. Here's a picture summed up. I remember all the challenges that games use to give but now its just a rare thing. All the passwords you had to write down.. The constant saves.. THE GRAPHICS. I thought they were the shit back then. But nowadays isn't so bad with how far its come from simple 2D pixels to 3D adventures. Or even the ability to make choices within games to give you different endings. But why is it still so damn difficult to choose a starter for pokemon. :l Well this is just me reminiscing so don't mind me.
Old school games are still better than today's! The reason for the lack of challenges in today's games is because society gets bored easily and are technically, stupider. We want things just handed to us in order for us to like it. Old school pong is the best - used on a hand dial. It's hard as crap. It's a challenge. When I play today's on a wii, it's too simple. Prime example of how technology advancements can actually ruin good things.
