Rose Jojo:okay so 1# question I'm sure people are asking others or themselves is what do you think of the new pimd? Rose:Hmm, well I don't find it too bad. I mean I like how we can give stat boosts to our partners. I love the new forum layout and find it much easier to do posts! Jojo:so you don't think that the new Pimd is bad at all? it doesn't need changes? Rose:Well I think that maybe the name Rekationships could be changed to something that'll appeal more to the older players. Also maybe benefits to people who don't want to go into a 'relationship' as I can see how they can feel forced to go in one or go down in V.I.P ranks. Jojo:do you believe that others should of became mods? Rose:Well, I think Warrior would of been a great mod, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Jojo:sadly, Well you're are well known through threads am I right? Rose:? I don't know, I guess? Jojo:Well would you like to give the pimd_community advice on how to handle this uproar? Rose:? I think Pimd_C needs to bring something big out, something that'll be good for the older players. Maybe something to do with how long they played? Like as someone posted in Forums more tutor slots per year or 6 months of playing. Jojo:Thank rose for your time! I *have been relatively vocal lately about the controversy in forums, because I feel strongly about my position It's hard to pinpoint when exactly when this "new" pimd that many people dislike so much actually started: and you'll get different answers from every person you speak with for me personally though, I think it began primarily with the new relationship feature, and snowballed increasingly from there That's not to say I have been in favour with everything ATA had done up until that point,because I understand the effects that cat cafes, excessive hunts, etc have had as well but I have had the most significant ethical objections to the devs since the time of the relationship button's launch and then with the current mod fiasco I think that it was great to see the community rally together to support the mods who resigned when they did but what was most disheartening was the apathy the devs demonstrated at that time those mods dedicated years of their time to a game for little more than a title, unlimited speakers, and the "glory" that comes with a green name only to have an empty and superficial remark sent their way by the devs when they left so at that time I think the biggest issue was the lack of transparency, responsibility, and accountability on the part of the devs that is to say that moderators were initially meant to be so much more than "police" like figures a "moderator" is someone who works the middle to facilitate conversation between two sides of a conversation but if the devs aren't willing to listen to the moderators when they express the concerns of the community, and if the moderators are instead simply forced to spread pro-ata propaganda and unquestioning support of the devs' decisions (wheter ethical or not) the whole system becomes compromised...(had to cut short follow for full) I-Eat_Pie I-Eat_Pie: (Also same questions asked)The new pimd, I hate it ? it used to be fun, now it's just filled with creepy stalker dudes this gif explains it all yes it needs a lot of improvements, from removing the relationship button, to removing a lot of other stuff I preferred the old mods,especially j31 the new mods on the other hand we gotta wait and see yes, because I heard rumors one of the new ones. _warrior would've been a good choice I guess, I post in everyone's threads and make threads every now and then my advice would be, for them to listen to the community. and stop doing things without.us knowing ahead of time. we are.the ones.being.impacted not them.
