If their so against it why use it? stat boost? Um, that's not a very good "taking a stand against the relationship button" If you don't like it, DONT USE IT.
The game is 17+. That is not to say that the characters are underage. I said nothing involving underaged drinking. Please explain to me how I offered no evidence.
As a major in video game programming I will counter your stupid money arguments. Lets just say they spend 1,000,000 on this button. EC for cats and bikinis are about 5-6 dollars. Name changes are about 2 dollars and avis cost as much as 5 dollars. So with this logic if they were to remove the feature they could make back enough money in no time considering b2b cc and ppa. People always wanna name change. And some people prefer to buy some avis. So tell me how is it that a feature that many people seem to hate unreasonable to remove due to money. You see it in rpgs and many other games all the time. Heck removing the button could save the company. Look at the statistics. If people keep quitting ata will start to lose income. Then ata won't make any money back from implementing the button.

When pimd made a thread about this new feature Rs you were the one who wrote there that you asked for it year back And you even made a thread called guide to relationship lol and now in this thread you saying Rs is not a good addition. This game has been for me for a long time. When the debs didn't focus solely on adding *** related features. In the past year, their has been pizza bikini, spermy the spermwhale, octopussy, pokey bra, and the relationship feature. I'm ok with both partying and wars, but when the debs are deliberately trying to attract people just looking for dates, it starts getting annoying. When all I'm surrounded by is love and RP, instead of strategy and helping people, it's just not as fun.
Because more people don't care or like it then people who don't. And a lot of the top spenders now have a reason to buy those EC's ON TOP OF cats and notes. Tell me more how that won't bing in several thousand more dollars? If not more?
Its not that more people like it than don't its that ATA doesn't listen to those who actually put their voice out there. People deal with it but that doesn't change the fact tons of others still hate it. Tons of other players dedicated to the game. Like seriously I bet at least 30-45% of people actually for the stupid button are those thirsty noobs who barely even upgrade even though they spend a lot of time playing. And before you argue yes I am in an rp club but I don't rp. Yes I'm low stats but I barely even play. I hardly get on and when I am on I just lurk in forums.
You do not like it because of the name, or because of the huge stat boosts? If it's the name, perhaps the developers might listen to a request to modify it. If it's the stats, not much you can do. The developers want the stats to be high so it's worth the money.
Its the name. The concept of dating is stupid. This game wasn't intended for that. Its such a stupid implement. It ruins the game because people who could care less about upgrading will just want someone to date. The exact same kinda people only a year ago we could openly say this isn't a dating game to. No because of the fact it says relationship on it that nullifies all of that. Not to mention good long time players are leaving the game. Many who happen to be my friends because ATA has made it clear our voice doesn't matter.
