*・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・''・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・* Gwyneth's P.O.V "Three days?!" My jaw dropped and I was a little angry he hadn't told me that sooner. Alexander nodded and went back to making breakfast. Instead of waiting for him to finish, I got up from my seat and looked for the door. I was not going to waste my time here. I wasn't sure if heard me, but I didn't wait to find out. I took off running as fast as I could, not recognizing my surroundings. I continued running not paying attention to what was happening. When I did realize, it was too late. The world was shattering around me, just like glass. I looked back to where I had come from and was faced with a darkness. I turned back only to be met with darkness as well. I dared to look down, and saw that the ground was shattering beneath me as well. And then I started to fall. I tried to scream, but it refused to leave my throat. I flailed my arms and started crying. I had never felt this so terrified. Would I be stuck falling for eternity? The silence was sickening. I was alone. I wasn't sure how long I had been falling for until I heard the beating of wings. It was loud and the beat was steady. I felt a pair of arms go around me and suddenly I was being taken back up. As we reached the surface, I noticed things beginning to reappear around us. When I was finally set down, I was once again in front of Alexander's house. I already knew who had saved me, but refused to say anything. I opened the door and went inside without a word. I sat back down at the counter and looked at the plate of food waiting for me. Alexander stepped in after me, his wings having already disappeared. I hid my disappointment and not having been able to see them. "What were you thinking?" He asked me. I could feel his anger. "I wanted to leave. I don't know who you are and you broke into my house. Yeah, seems like a person I can trust." Alexander jerked my head up. "You should be thanking me, I saved your life. Twice." If I thought falling was terrifying, the look he had on his face was worse. Much worse. I stated straight back into his eyes, saying nothing. "They told me not to protect you but I thought you had potential. I guess I was wrong." I let go of my chin and stepped away before walking upstairs. "There's more food in the fridge. If you get hungry again, make yourself something." I stared down at the pancakes he had made for me feeling queasy and guilty for how I had acted. While he had done all the things I said, he had also saved my life. And I had thanked him by acting like a child. Nice going, Gwyn. *・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・''・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・* Oh look, I finally updated ?
