At least someone sees my point, Thanks jax. Like I said I had an opinion and I said it that's all, not trying to start trouble
MALT WTF? WHO GIVES A FUCK IF YOU OFFEND SOMEONE? "im not trying to start trouble" LOL if someone thinks that fuck it, as long as you know it, its cool. Bruh.
I left out a part. I wanted to say that Asians, Latinos, black people, white people all pretty people of lighter complexion for the most part. And I addressed the fact that yes not everyone is attracted to darker skin and that's fine. Yes sometimes this hurts me personally but I can't change someone's preference or force dark skin down their throat. But then I asked why is lighter often viewed as better when both can be equally beautiful or equally ugly? And then my more personal rant at the end about my black is beautiful, I meant that my personality and they way I look are often criticized by both black and white people (they're who I interact with most often) for one reason or another. Yet they all expect to buy into the "my black is beautiful campaign" and to accept myself. Often times my self acceptance is only grown by my strength never because of others. Just for clarification
Well something obviously stirred you up and you didn't lead by example by making this forum, why didn't you just ignore it?
Thank you for your opinion Malt And spit, on this thread it matters that no one is intentionally offended. ? Sometimes you can't help if people get offended and that's fine. But if you can, don't offend them.
Okay, do you even read? I said don't take offense when someone states facts. I'm upset about an issue and I think I handled my anger pretty well in this thread. You on the other hand accused me of being racist when you could've very well presented your initial statement by saying that it's unfair to always assume white people are the face of racism. Which I wholeheartedly agree. Therefore I attacked that notion. The reason I didn't say racism was associated with a different group is because that would be a lie. And then there would be nothing to disprove.
Don't listen to spit, he thinks he's funny. Bet he sits on his couch eating crap in his joggers all day.
My 2 cents about the "uneducated white people thing"... So um I just wanted to say, whether you're racist or not doesn't indicate the fact that you're uneducated. No one, for a fact is born racist, racism is taught. Just like when you're a kid you learn your abc's, when you're younger you can learn to hate/dislike a certain race whether it be black, white, Latino, or Asian. ️#IJS
She didnt mean school uneducated she meant life uneducated you can be a Harvard graduate and still be an ignorant racist
I guess it's conditioning. Movies and media give all these stereotypes on people and you grow up thinking that's how they are. Doesn't help when you meet people who actually fit the stereotype as well. There is some truth to stereotypes after all. As for skin color, I'm not sure but maybe darker skin makes people seem more intimidating? That's a guess.
? This is true. Uneducated wasn't the best word especially since I wasn't talking about education. Maybe uninformed? Small-minded or close-minded. Because I meant a person who maybe hasn't been exposed to anyone or personally gotten to know someone of a different skin color. But even then people can still be racist. So maybe I should've just said "white" because my later statements only disproved the color stereotype associated with racism. My apologies.
