Awake. Head Throbbing. Vision Blurry. the room is cold. Light Fire. Game Saved The Forest Beckons a stranger stumbles into the room, she collapsed on the floor. she weeps. have to keep the fire going. Stoke Fire. Game Saved the fire is roaring. the room is hot. she speaks of wanderer destruction. she weeps for humanity. she grips the locket tied around her neck. Stoke Fire Game Saved she says she can build. says she's a friend. the world is open. death awaits. no turning back. no hope. You've traveled far. You ransacked towns and humiliated humans in their own destroyed cities. You stripped people of their resources and killed their loved ones. You've killed youths for their ignorance of lashing out at you instead of putting them in their place. You've found bodies of the dead, wasting away in their own abodes, clutching to poison and personal artifacts. You've looted their dead in which they buried years before. You've taken supplies from families and watched as the tears filled their eyes. You listened to the mothers weep as you left their homes. You've killed fathers before their sons, and slain their kin thereafter. You've taken advantage of innocent women, alone in their own homes and killed them for their resources. Your emotions were hidden as you listened to the sounds of the harsh, dusty winds, and the infants crying in other rooms. You are a murderer. But why? Why, would you do all this? Was it for survival, or for pure enjoyment? You are a Wanderer. You dragged this colony into the ground, yet you still wish to desecrate the innocent even more. Your brothers who fought this war with you weeped over the years. They changed their ways and suffered cauterized wounds to give themselves to Humanity. To fight with them. Your petty ignorance leaves you with false hopes of reinforcements. You've become infuriated with this dark, lost world after years of fighting with no help. You tried to escape. You knew this planet would see its end soon. How long could a planet survive without its mother star? You murderer, you thought you could escape. You began to feel the wounds of this world and all innocent beings dwelling on it. You severed your own lower arms and left yourself cauterized. You performed the ritual yourself. Fool... Your crimes will never be forgiven. You made your way to the starship you found years ago. You knew the Natives would never figure out the mechanics. You upgraded the thrusters and hull and decided to lift off soon. But you found a motionless wanderer. You examined her body. A glowing locket glowed, tied around her neck. You left. You took flight and into the sky you went. You dodged asteroids but was overcome by fear. Your skills of being an Admiral have left you over the years of being a monster. You ejected, and was pulled back by gravity and through the weak atmosphere you were brought back. You've fallen in the same field of dead grass from which you left. Your head hits a rock. You weep alone. You take refuge in a dark, damp room that keeps a pit in the center. You gather wood. You sleep. You wake. awake. head throbbing. vision blurry. 2013-2014 your years count. where are they? make your own world.
Nope. There's another? I knew they added an alternate ending or whatever but I finished the game maybe 5-6 months ago? Something like that.
I wrote 90% of this thread concerning the other game. It's a Prequel to the first. I felt that this would give deeper feelings to the reader instead of the first game's story. (Which was also a tearjerker.) But don't play it unless you've discovered all the secrets in the first game. D:
