For the first time Claire was at lost for words. She didn't know what to say. One look at Max and it's like the words get punched out of her. Alice looked at Claire and sighed to herself. "Where are we gonna stay?" She asked
"There are rooms here on base, or we have several places where you guys can go." Maeve says to Alice.
"Oh." Alice muttered. "So where will you guys stay?" She asked Amber and Claire. "I think I'll stay here." Amber said. "What about you Claire?" "Huh?" Claire was caught off guard by Amber's attention "Oh, I'll stay where you guys will stay..." "Then I guess I'll stay here as well." Alice muttered
Maeve slapped Hunter across the back if the head and scowled before getting in his face "since when is my personal life any of your business."
Hunter wasnt affected. "It wasnt. You told me and you left your computer before you left with Seth's pictures all over it. You're lucky i shut it down."
"You know damn well I have never said anything like that. My laptop is not full of his pictures. Are you sure you aren't thinking of your sister?" Maeve responds quietly, not moving an inch.
Hunter eyes frost over. "My sister is dead.... and Max was the one who hacked in. Tried to save his ass."
"Oh, well that's actually pretty cool." Claire said, closing her eyes and crossing her arms. "For a nerd." She smirked and opened her eyes, looking at Max with amused eyes. "Claire!!" Amber chided
Kesi chuckled at Claire before Whitey nudged her and pointed out Maeve squared up to Hunter. Kesi bites her bottom lip out of nervousness as she had never seen Maeve like it.
"Umm... Guys. You're arguing while Valeri is literally dying back here." Joel said, stepping out of the chopper with Amy. "Hi Hunter and Max," Amy said cheerfully, "This is my dad Joel."
Hunter leaned and whispered, "Yours." He moved away. Max scrowled. "I happen to be pretty good at it. I was the guy who stole info from the government and boat loads of cash."
