Those that lost loved ones in 9-11 won't get better until they move on. That's just how the world works. When Pearl Harbor got bombed, Americans grieved over it for years. After a long time, people moved on. Eventually we'll move on about 9/11 as well.
3000 people died on 9/11, and 150000 die every day on average, so why do the people from 9/11 deserve so much more respect than other people? What is the difference? Just bc some big terrorist killed them they deserve more respect than others? Thats all im getting from this.
Maybe I'm just a huge softie, but whatever. I didn't personally lose anyone on 9-11, but I'd be pretty damn pissed if some asshole made a joke about any of my family members' deaths.
I don't joke about other people's deaths either and I'd give the same disappointment in that, too. I just don't see people joking about anyone's deaths in campus. But yet it's okay to joke about it when a whole bunch of people die at one time. That doesn't make any sense.

I lost a loved one on 9-11. Does it get easier to live life? Yes. Does the hurt ever go away completely? No. It's learning to live without that person that is hard not the fact they died. Making fun of how someone was murdered is just plain ignorant.

Yea people don't talk about WWI and WWII much on here because they weren't ALIVE when it happened. Of course people playing this game are going to be affected by the events that occurred. Most of us were all around then and some of us were directly impacted. Some people do have respect for days and events like this. I've had family memebers serve in almost every war or military action this country has participated in. For me and my family some days play a bigger impact on us than other people who may be living in their sheltered bubbles. To argue that it is only Americans that are impacted by 9/11 is extremely ignorant. There were thousands of people from multiple countries working in the world trade center. For people who respect this day as a day of rememberance, let them be and be respectful. There's no point being crude about this topic.
I'm not attached to America in any way. I wasn't born here, so I'm pretty ignorant about the important dates that America celebrates or mourn over (history in school is boring as heck, so sue me for not listening) but making fun of the deaths of thousands of people is never okay. Sure, you can joke about it with your friends in private, but never share your so-called jokes on something that every people can read. You're already trying hard enough to seek attention, you also disrespected those who were affected directly or indirectly. That's dirty. ?
