My take on fixing the game's problems

  1. As we all know, paying real money to do cat cafe in hunts gives people a ridiculous advantage. It's just how it is, real money = getting ahead. This idea is going off of that, but with a more widely accessible approach. This is also taking into account the party vs battle list argument.

The unit of measurement could be called anything, but for now we'll just call it "buzz".

Buzz is similar to your strength and intel energy, but fills up much slower. Think of it as a third bar. This bar could take anywhere from 10 to 48(or more!) hours to fill up completely, it does not regen every 5 minutes. A good regen time would be every 1/5th of it's total time. To "fully unload" a buzz, you'd have to do around 20-40 actions.

While you are "buzzed", you get special bonuses. These could be but are not limited to:

•Larger cash bonus (and hunt drops!) when hitting directly from the "people" list. (No going to somebodies profile, hitting specific people, etc)

•Hunt rewards greatly increased. This allows people who work all day and can't hunt to actually participate, while still keeping it even. It will NOT be as good as somebody who hits a party constantly throughout the day as they get it too, but it will help even the gap. Think of a "buzz" as a bonus that slowly pools up.

•Cash bonus for every party, but special parties such as cat cafe and pizza get a smaller multiplier. Something like this: regular party-140% cash bonus, paid party-105% cash bonus. Remember, that 5% bonus is a lot considering the already massive amount they give out.

•Increased chance of ec drop on jobs. From 2 to either 4 or 6 percent.

•Many other possibilities. The buzz bar could be a tool to tweak the game.

    New items!

Here are a few example items:

•[permanent] Increases total buzz amount by 20%. (This means 20% more buzzed actions)

•[permanent] Increases buzz regen speed by 10% (take 10% off of total regen time. Remember, regen time could be anywhere from a few hours to days, so this would help)

Both perm items could be extremely cheap, like a dollar or two. It would be a somewhat necessary item if you don't always have time to do hunts that you want, or if you just really want to get the most drops out of a hunt.

•[one time use] Completely refills your buzz. (Basically a dn for buzz, would be extremely limited, one per every few days or more.

•[temporary] Increases your total buzz amount by 40% for a certain amount of time. This could only be bought with ec OR dropped from the people list.

•[temporary] Increases buzz regen speed by 30% for a certain amount of time. This could be bought with ec, dropped from the people list, or dropped from any party.

•[EC gift] Increases the receivers buzz regen speed by 15% for a certain amount of time.

•[EC gift] Increases total buzz amount by 20% for a certain amount of time.

Example: "Hey, I can't play at all today but I really wanted to finish this hunt. Can you send me the buzz items so when I get back I can catch up?"

 That is it. I realize this is extremely messy... and the numbers are all just random. They could and should be changed, but it all depends on how long it would take to regen and how many hits it is worth. This is my solution to the game's problems, just for fun. Let me know what you think.

  2. No support.

  3. But ATA might support this idea. Well

  4.
    will read later

  5. I'm too lazy go read. ?

  6. This would:

•Increase battle list activity, especially before hunts started.

•Only slightly favor people who are willing to pay real money, while still getting many people to spend real money.

•Even the field between people who play 24/7 and people who play 5/2, while still giving players who play more their "earnings".

It essential does nothing but make people think they are winning something for their effort, similar to many mechanics already in the game.

  7. Kinda support I guess?
