The Demon War The year is 3737 and the human race is nearing extinction. Centuries ago, the Vatican discovered a gateway to Hell and dispatched a special trained group of exorcists to observe its activity. At first, the demons who entered through the gate were benign and easily eliminated. But as more powerful demons came to this world, humanity began to panic. One woman believed that we could be friends with demons, and claimed to have spoken to Satan himself. At the time, she was expecting twins. The Vatican took her in as a witch and executed her after she delivered her babies. Showing no mercy, they flung the two girls into the gates to Hell, thinking they had solved their problem. However, this only caused to enrage whatever lurked behind the gate and demons began to stream through the gate, overrunning the researchers and destroying anyone and anything in their path. Special groups formed to train the next generations in hopes of overcoming the onslaught of demons. These failed. Now, there is only one camp of humans left who are still desperately struggling to stay alive. Will they be able to stop the demons and salvage what's left of humanity? You are part of humanity's last hope at surviving. Alone you cannot defeat the demons, but as a team you can. Sweet! Name: Serephine Fontana Age: 19 Looks Personality: Although very polite with an almost regal air about her and perfect posture, she's very closed off. Serephine usually remains detached and cool when speaking to people and likes to keep to herself. She doesn't have any friends, and she's only close to her sister, but she can quickly change her mannerisms if she needs to manipulate someone. No one really likes her immediately unless she's consciously trying to appear friendly. She rarely shares information with anyone. Bio: Her and her sister were trained by their parents who were top-notch demon hunters. Unfortunately, both died while fighting off higher ranked demons. Seraphina and her sister are now trying to survive while using the skills they've obtained from their parents. Weapon of choice: Daggers. She carries rows of them in a belt and a few longer ones in sheaths behind her back. They're able to be used in both hand-to-hand combat and long range throwing, and she likes to keep them razor-sharp at all times. Exorcist power: Serephine can, at times, melt into the shadows and move with them to appear invisible. However, activating this power is very strenuous and she rarely uses it. It tends to exhaust her.
Name: Alice Fontana Age: 19 Looks: Personality: Is both sadistic and masochistic in the sweetest way possible. Can at times be manipulative in order to achieve what she wants. Once you gain her trust, she is extremely loyal. Bio: Her and her sister were trained by their parents who were top-notch demon hunters. Unfortunately, both died while fighting off higher ranked demons. Seraphina and her sister are now trying to survive while using the skills they've obtained from their parents. Weapon of choice: Any kind of gun she can get her hands on. Typically she uses a generic hand gun. Exorcist power: Is able to go into a trance-like state and communicate with the demons in order to stay alive. Requires great focus and can only be used in times of the utmost danger.

Bio: Grew up not knowing his parents since his parents were brutally murdered by the hands of the very demon that he thought was his human brother. Filled with anger and hatred(And some bloodlust) he became an exorcist without thinking of anything else. For humans: Weapon of choice- Katana that can heat up to extreme temperatures but can only be used once and can take really long to use also wields a pistol. Special exorcist power-Doppelgangers, He can create dummy's that cannot move for confusing the enemy.

Name: Kesi Age: 17 Looks: Personality: with her name meaning born of a troubled father, she is a trouble maker when you first meet her. She is always cheeky and has a mischevious smile on her face. On the inside, she would put the happiness and the safety of other people in front of her own. Bio: her mother died before she was born and the medics raced to rescue her before she died. The medics named her Kesi because it was thought that her father accidentally killed her mother from thinking she was a demon intruder. She has always been close to her father, as he taught her all the skills she knows. He got killed three years ago, trying to protect the camp. Weapon of choice: she prefers to be close to the action, as an adrenaline junkie in effect, so she uses a long sword. Special exorcist power: Kesi loves pranks, so she creates smoke from her hands and it lasts long enough for her to disappear from sight. She doesn't use it unless she thinks she won't make it back alive from a fight. Although using the smoke can make her partly pale complexion deathly white and extremely tired.
Both accepted @Vip There ARE different ranks of demons, but the demons are supposed to be kept a secret so no one knows about them. The humans are going to figure out who's a demon and who's not. Now that you say that, you can't just make a demon character because everyone will know.
Name: Blaze Detroit Age: 18 Looks: Personality: Usually quiet, but Is extremely smart and comic. Can be laid back, and can be loved easily. Always knows how to attract to right attention. Bio: A smart lad, with high grades he became an actor and comedian at 16. He then when on to become a TV presenter for the biggest game show in the world know as "Choose your fate" where people fight for there lives against demons. Now he's a high ranking exorcist, with a talent for being able to tame demons. He has currently got a pet demon he calls Arktum who aids him in battle when summoned. Weapon of choice: A katana and a pair of pistols. Exorcist power: Can mind control anything and can summon demons to his aid.

(May it be a weapon that changes into another? A good example would be a majority of the weapons from RWBY. Also, the exorcist power is allowed to be something pretty damn magical, yes?)
