Farming over tutors, a highly debated issue. I am sure many people will disagree with me. Opinions, like assholes, everybody has one and most of them stink. I believe there is never a time to target another player over hiring a tutor. Many in the past have made the easy argument that the Hire button exists for a reason. The rebuttle of course has always been, so is the Battle button. It is a well known fact that Cat Cafe pays out more than using the Dance button on your recent foe. By choosing to target a player over a tutor hire, you have deliberately engaged in an activity that is most likely costing you more than a rehire and persistently hitting the party persistently. There is never a time that having a tutor hired will cost a player money. The fact that you must spend a little more now to rehire the same tutor has cost you money is an illusion. If the tutor is active and still UP, at some point you would have to, at some point, spend that money. If the tutor is OP, consider it an investment similar to stock investing. Profits and losses are only made when you cash out. Profits are made when the tut is hired and loss occur when you drop the tutor. If the tutor is inactive and is hired away, then congratulations! You just got bought out of a really bad investment! One argument given for reasonable cause to farm over tutors is when a player is at War. In a traditional war a player has several hours to prepare. This means time to buy pots, hide cash and ensure that all of your tutors are OP enough to deter buyers even if they may upgrade during the war. Lastly, there is the case of Farm War and Strip-Farm War. This is where some need to "Let Me Get This Staright". You want every other PIMD player put their game and purchasing decisions on hold because you got yourswlf wrapped up in some personal business that has nothing to do with anyone else except you and your enemy? Fat chance! And if you are American I bet you vote Democrat too. In summary, OP your tutors. Make good investing decisions and quit acting like you're the victim of some type of travesty that cost you money because a tutor got hired. Especially when you are more than willing to sacrifice more money than the rehire to wtart a Farm War over it. I will not be responding to any comments on this thread, nor wall posts in regards to this topic. I may entertain some discussion in Private Chat, but I do not like this medium for conversation and I know many of you would argue with me til we are both blue in the face. Everybody has an opinion, for those of you that disagree with me, you're just wrong. I'm sorry.
Dude, don't say straight or you risk offending the lgbfgjjfdcvbt community and be forum banned for a day -_- *******
SuperJohn, on that last note I will comment because it has nothing to do with the OT. I stand for traditional marriage amd Christoan Family values. If that offends anyone, even the LGBT community then that's just tough. My rights to free speech and standing up for my values, even if they differ from others, does not come second to someones inability to control their emotions and get upset because I disagree with their views. We are all on our own journey and I respect that, but part of my journey in life is practicing and standimg by my faith. PIMD shouldn't be in the business of silencing people for their views until it becomes a blatant harrassment of an individual or group of specific individuals.
So say im in system war and my almost 70 b op tut gets hired? Am i allowed to be "upset" then? Not everyone cares if a tut is op
I think that we all interpret our own definitions of fun on pimd, so no one way of thinking is right. For some it comes down to morals, while for others it is only a game. Some it comes down to really staying in character, while others just enjoy the drama. It's impossible to address pimd as a whole on a topic such as this, because everybody thinks they are right.
The thing is..... The person hitting that hire button may get hit by the person they hired from. It's not your choice to get hit or not, but it is yours to not hire. So basically you can get hit if the other person chooses too, even if it's wrong deal with it and move on. Everyone plays how they want to. Don't like if? Sucks. Your opinions really don't count. Life ain't fair. My opinion: I support the hitting over a very op tut that is active. Up tut is fair game. In sfw or system war? You should probably be careful when hiring. But then again, it's up to the person you hire from
