Sleepy?

    Last night I got no sleep. I lay in bed for hours and did not even dose off for a minute.

    Today, I'm like a walking zombie?. Well, a sitting zombie. I drank a ton of coffee, tried to jump to get my adrenaline pumping, and turned on bright lights to alter my melatonin levels in hopes of being less sleepy. It was all no use?, I'm counting the minutes till I go sleep again.

    This got me thinking, well as much as a person on no sleep actually can think, What do you do to stay awake when you need too? And when is the last time you pulled an unintentional and unwanted all nighter?

  5. Last iWar. Really no sleep. But I'm not sleepy that time.
     
  6. I jog around to get my blood going and I try to be outside. Sitting inside a cold room just makes me wanna doze off more.

    I have insomnia which was way worse before due to my brain being too hyperactive at night and a few panic attacks. Definitely unwanted.

    There was a period in my life where I could only sleep when I saw the sun rise up because only then would I calm down. 
     
  7. Once I pulled an all nighter with a friend at my house. The next day, I fell asleep on the couch the whole afternoon, and left her alone. I woke up a little before it was time for her to leave. That happened a whole ago, but I still feel bad.
     
  8. Best trick:

    Do not allow yourself to see whether it gets dark outside in the day. Also do not allow yourself to see what time it is.

    That is how I do all nighters
     
  9. I have anxiety and insomnia, so most nights I'm up late. I have an alarm clock in my brain that wakes me before 7am. So on average I get anywhere from 3-5 hours, interrupted by waking up a lot and checking the time on my phone. It's really annoying.

    I drink coffee, but doesn't really help. Sometimes I take a nap when my baby is sleeping bc I'm just so tired from running around with lack of sleep. But mostly I just deal with it.
     
  10. Eat green apple is more awakening than drink coffee. Saw that from random magazine.
     
  11. I take a cold shower if I'm at home if I'm out I listen to loud music that's gets you hype. If it happens while driving. I pull over to sleep if I feel like I can't make it without hitting someone.
