Continuing from Chapter 1... A few other Boys come over to the boy in the Leatherman jacket. One boy was wearing a shirt with the school logo, a Jaguar, on it and quickly pulled Violet and Mia off to the side. The number "11" shown brightly as he spoke to the girls. "What was that all about? Why'd you deck my friend?", he said in a mild mannered but firm tone. "Shut up!", Violet responded, "it's none of your buisness anyway!" "It is my business.", he said to her with a clueless expression on his face. He pointed at the boy in the jacket. "He's my teammate after all." "Well he should learn to leave my friend alone!" The tone in Violet's voice only seemed to increase in rage. "I apologize if he caused any trouble--" "Arktum!" A females voice sounded, making the boys head turn. "Mr.Harikana! Can you please explain why there is a young man bleeding in MY hallway?!" Arktum nudged the two girls and whispered, "Yall gotta go, and fast. I'll handle this." Ark turned to the the elder woman who called after him, "Comin' miss!" A few other students that stood and watched had vanished at the presence of the woman. "Arktum Harikana! Explain!" She hollered once more, stomping toward him. Ark glanced behind him, realizing that the girls were gone now. "Just a misunderstanding ma'am. No worries," he managed to say with a small smile. "Misunderstandings dont make bloody noses," she said with a raised eyebrow and bitterness in her voice. "Just a little misunderstanding miss. Don't worry." "Your not covering up for anyone correct?" "Yes ma'am." "This is your doing?" "Yes ma'am. I apologize," he gave a reassuring smile. "Then my office it is. After school. I'll let coach know too," the female responded as she walked away. "Yes ma'am..." Ark lets out a deep sigh. But immediately after she leaves, goes to assist his bloody nosed teammate. *** Violet and Mia had ran off to there next class, not bothering to look back. "Think we're ok?" Mia said to Violet. But Violet remained silent.
