  10. Yeah we pay for it. They're pretty intimidating if you don't. We moved into a new house and before we'd even moved in (we'd got the mortgage and keys) we had a threatening letter telling us we'd be fined for watching tv because we didn't have a licence. Considering what they broadcast is shit I'd much rather not pay

  14. Strictly speaking it's not for having a TV in your home but you pay for the reception that is broadcasted to your TV.

    Even if you watch just sky you are expected to pay for the licence. If not you face criminal proceedings.
