What’s the obsession with being “in before lock”? I would assume normally someone might try to get a point in quick and then say it but it seems pointless to just be “in before lock”….and that’s what grinds my gears idk, I’m bored at work and decided to make a Peter Griffin rant thread :mrgreen:
I'm pretty sure you can get a forum ban for saying "in before lock" or "1st post" on the first page or so I heard, as it is pointless and spam and crap. Blah blah

In before lock is not original nor something you can start because it's been around forever on multiple forums I've visited over the years. To long didn't read is also not original, nor is posting your name and nothing of substance. Forums has become overcrowded with individuals who have nothing better to do with their time then post silly things on threads. I don't understand the obsession but hey I'm not them, they can do as they wish and what makes them happy. Even if it annoys me which I believe is their end game anyway, to annoy as many people as they can. In my definition these people are not forumers or trolls, they're just individuals who are seen because they have nothing better to do with their time. Until they can contribute, they can't be a forumer or a troll, in my opinion of course. Also the to long didn't read thing confuses me, due to the fact that you're on forums...on a thread...if you don't like reading why are you on forums? Confuses me but oh well.
