And I think you should help her. Women are are attracted to abusive men are so for usually a few reasons- low self esteem, suffering abuse I'm childhood, etc. Abuse is a vicious cycle and women will often let it continue into adulthood because they're so used to it.

And then also they think that abusive behavior shows that they care or that they're protective, and they want someone that's, well, "clingy" I suppose they may describe it as. I'm bad with words but hopefully I'm making sense
